    Key Responsibilities:

    • Plan and select the range - in line with quality and brand directives;
    • Respond to customer demand, trends and sales - speed to market skills essential;
    • Oversee critical path and manage suppliers on and off-shore;
    • Build categories with trend knowledge, international travel required for sourcing and inspiration;
    • Set prices and sell through targets in conjunction with the Buying Manager to ensure they are in line with the budget;
    • Lead and develop a team;
    • Manage the portfolio with full responsibility for financials and sales performance;
    • Provide analysis and reporting on market trends, consumer preferences, sell through and seasonal demands;
    • Utilise your strong negotiation skills to work closely with suppliers on pricing and payment terms; 
    • Review buying feedback reports and provide recommendations to Buying Manager with strategies for next collections/seasons;

    Qualifications and Competencies: 

    • Fashion Womenswear buying experience and expertise typically gained over a period of at least 3-5 years;
    • Womenswear buying experience;
    • Strong financial management, with experience managing your own OTB and sales results;
    • Exceptional understanding of the fast fashion market, with an ability to interpret trends and build ranges to ensure brand cohesion;
    • Strong construction knowledge is essential, also an ability to offer guidance to the technical teams;
    • The ability to effectively Manage and develop a team of Assistants and Juniors;
