Tax Manager - Mid Tier - Sydney

Our client is currently seeking a TAX manager to run an expanding team. Working as a team leader your role will require management of a team of 8 staff to ensure deadlines are met. Due to the rapid growth of the division their are excellent career prospects for the right candidate.

You will be supervising a team that has responsibility for:

• Ensuring the completeness and accuracy of the annual tax effect accounting numbers.
  
• Completion of income tax and FBT returns.
  
• Ongoing review of tax compliance systems, processes and procedures.

You will need the following skills and competencies:

• Strong leadership, people management and team work ethics
  
• Initiative, enthusiasm and be performance driven
  
• Strong customer focus
  
• Superior oral and written communication skills
  
• Good time management, organisational skills and ability to work under pressure
  
• Excellent knowledge of tax effect accounting principles
  
• Excellent understanding and knowledge of income tax legislation and principles
