A much-loved Australian business is going through further national growth, and looking to appoint a new Senior Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of a large number of new site openings across two brands.
You will have full ownership of all projects from start to completion and store opening.

The business is looking for a hands-on, strong team player who can manage working in a fast-paced environment, and confident in managing multiple senior stakeholders across the group as well as multiple projects.

The key responsibilities of this role will involve:
  • Overseeing and managing the projects end-to-end, mainly new store openings, as well as refurbishments. 
  • Daily management of project trackers, regularly communicating and updating key stakeholders internally and externally of the business.
  • Tendering and supplier negotiations regarding procurement of fixtures and fittings.
  • Research and development of appropriate documentation. 
  • Developing and fostering long term relationships with landlords, service providers and suppliers.
  • Budget management.
  • Mobility to visit sites for inspections regularly and ongoing. 
  • Assess and review existing store network to identify potential needs for refurbishment. 
  • Managing a team of 2 beneath you- Junior Project Manager and a Coordinator
What does a an ideal candidate look like:
  • An established Project Manager specifically with store build/fit experience in retail or food and beverage industries (commercial)
  • A strong communicator with the proven ability to foster relationships
  • Strong organisation skills and time keeping, being able to manage a large, growing workload.
  • Team management experience looking after small teams.
  • You are agile and adaptable to work with the growing needs of the business.
  • Resilience and calm nature.
  • A team player who is hands-on, with a can-do / problem solving attitude.
