  • Range planning for leather accessories.
  • Adhering to margin targets and working to critical path timelines.
  • Sample development alongside the Creative Director.
  • Offshore supplier liaison, management of orders, samples, other items.
  • Collaborating with the design team to meet the seasonal briefs and defined objectives.
  • Manage pre-production samples and work closely with production team to communicate all styles and quality specs. 
  • Responsible for sourcing and development of trims and fabrics
About You: 
  • Previous design experience in designing quality, high end accessories
  • A minimum of three years' in an accessories design capacity. 
  • A strong eye for detail and an expert, technical knowledge of leather construction of bags, accessories and different trims.
  • Strong technical design drawing abilities and communications with stakeholders and suppliers. 
  • Fluency in Adobe Suite with high proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop.

  • Writing engaging, humerus and on-brand caption copy for all posts
  • Develop strategies to launch into new markets and continually grow audience
  • Assist the marketing and product team with campaign shoots to ensure assets can be used across social media platforms
  • Working with the Customer Service teams to ensure all enquiries and messages across pages are responded to
  • Forecasting key market trends and reporting on success
  
About you
  • 3+ years managing high growth digital marketing activity, agency, or brand experience
  • A sound understanding, and willingness to be an expert in YouTube, SnapChat, Pinterest and all other social media platforms
  • A background in marketing and communications in a youth or fashion-based organisation
  • Experience in visual merchandising and the ability to curate studio scenes for photography would be highly regarded
  • Impeccable attention to detail, exceptional communication skills and an aptitude for problem solving

My client, an empowering women's label are launching into activewear and swimwear and are seeking an established Designer to join their team during this exciting growth period. This brand is an established Australian label, producing innovative and empowering product market.

Key Responsibilities: 
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Manage the process of creating a balanced range, designing and developing key seasonal shapes, trends and items.
  • Work collaboratively with Head of Design to create & build each range
  • Adherence to Design calendar deadlines and understanding of marketing calendar
  • Offer clear direction at technical handover to enable development team to interpret design aesthetic with accuracy
  • Maintain the brand aesthetic at all times whilst moving the brand forward with fresh inspiring ideas.
  • Extensive knowledge in performance fabric and working with
    performance manufacturers. Fabric such as microfibre, recycled fabric, stretched fabric etc
  • Cultivate key relationships to develop long-term strategic partnerships and maximise opportunities and cost savings
Skills and Experience: 
  • Strong Product Development skills - must be confident technically in creating tech packs, leading fittings on a fit model and feeding back fit comments to oversea suppliers.
  • Experience working in fast paced, or high growth environment.
  • Strong technical and fit skills. 
  • A minimum of five years within a design team (preferably in Activewear/Lounge/or Swim)
  • Fluency across Adobe Suits - ability to produce illustrations and technical drawings
  • Strong knowledge of yarns, fabrics and trims
