As a National Retail Manager, you will be responsible for achieving company objectives in profit and loss control, sales performance, customer satisfaction and loss prevention by overseeing the operation aspects of the store while upholding our client's mission, vision & values. Key responsibilities
  • Drive sales by delivering and modelling exceptional customer service.
  • Develop store schedules and monitor payroll plans daily to ensure that budget is met.
  • Act as the liaison between the VP of Operations and the store team members.
  • Take appropriate actions to ensure each store maximises sales, minimises asset loss, and conforms to budgetary requirements.

Role:

This position is an immediate start 14-month contract (with potential for extension) working closely with senior management team to drive process improvement. Based in a brand new 1,200 square metre warehouse, you will oversee all warehouse & logistics operations. You will lead an energetic and friendly team of 10 (total) to meet and exceed KPIs in delivery time frames, stock accuracy, product quality etc. You will be closely assisted by a long-standing warehouse administrator and a floor manager, encouraging you to focus on maximising operational efficiencies. 

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Work closely with Buying Manager to ensure timely process of shipments
  • Ensure receipt, storage and distribution of goods, inventory control and order fulfilment are in line with strict company standards; processed accurately in ERP system 
  • Manage flow of all stock and pallet storage in warehouse to ensure capacity requirements at all times, including high volume periods 
  • Ensure a focus on health and safety at all times by enforcing strict WHS standards and regulations 
  • Provide shipping instructions to suppliers & coordinate bookings with freight forwarders 
  • Manage and oversee RFID stock take & inventory control processes 
  • Maintain relationships with freight and courier account managers

You:
  • Experienced warehouse manager knowledgeable in leading best practices and a willingness to motivate and up-skill team
